Enrolment in any class or private session constitutes agreement to a waiver of liability for injuries or illness contracted while a student is at the studio. Clients assume full responsibility for any and all damages, injuries or losses that he/she may sustain or incur, if any, while attending, practicing, participating in, or witnessing any class or private lesson of the dance program, or physical activity occurring in or about the premises. Your child's enrolment is voluntary and participation in the class and the activities of ballet, creative movement and dance involve numerous risks of injury, including but not limited to muscles strains, sprains and falls. You must inform the Director and all teaching staff of any injuries, medical conditions and allergies suffered by your child.
Upon enrolling my child into a class at Dance Alley Performing Arts (DAPA), I hereby grant DAPA permission to use and publish appropriate images, video footage and audio of my child from dances classes and performances for promotional purposes only on the schools social media and online sites (website, instagram & facebook), in newsletters and occasional main media such as related websites, television and newspapers. I hereby waive any claim that I may have to inspect or approve any images, products or copy in connection with any of the material.
Our school adheres to a No Refund Policy. A refund or credit will be given for medical reasons only, which must be supported by a medical note. Refunds are effective from the date the school is notified.
If a refund is approved, please allow 30 days for processing.
A student may withdraw from classes only at the end of any term. We request that either the student or parent notify Miss Ali if they are withdrawing from any class. Students will be automatically re-enrolled each term, as well as at the beginning of the year, unless we are advised of their withdrawal.
